These Multi–Purpose Roping posts are based on the highly popular Roping Posts – the difference is how they can be anchored to the floor. As the name suggests the Multi-Purpose Roping Posts are designed to go onto any surface as a method of roping off or as a method of securing signage on a temporary basis. of Sportsmark products will still "Fit" the New poles. The New pole has at the top the same adapter (A) as when we first launched the range (which has no sharp points), however at the bottom of the pole there is a smooth cap (B). When fixing this to the pole we advise using 1 or 2 of our pole retainers - so that If this pole is impacted it will pop off the fence without damaging the horse/rider/spectator. We are offering 4 different lengths for this Pole - Mainly due to the enforce change to our Flag design and the need to sleeve the flag over the pole, as such 250mm has been lost on the overall height of the pole and flag - for instance if you require for your course 10 extra poles and you already have our 1.5m event/uni poles and our old style flags then to match the heights up, we would suggest taking the 1.75m poles and using the New Flags then the overall height of the Poles will be the same. Further to comments made at the International Course Builders Conference at Burghley we have developed a method of holding poles onto cross country fences that is easy to use by Course builders and fence judges alike! In doing so they are horse friendly and great if you use portable fences that can get knocked from time to time. All that is required is 2 sections of this to be fixed to the side of a fence and it will hold it in place .. UNLESS it has been hit by a horse or rider and at that point it will detach from the fence. This design will also conform to the British Eventing guidelines 2022. It is also possible to get away with one section of this fixed to the fence and the base located into the ground. We have bundled together two kits of Course Markers that best cover 99% of Course requirements and these are the Advanced kit and the Basic Kit. After months of looking for the previously discontinued Storage box - we have now a Grey box which is made of toughened polypropylene. This storage box can take up to 57 Course Markers - this new box now has permanent dividers to separate the markers. We feel this is easier to find markers (as long as they are all stored the same way!) Following on from our aim to provided boxes for all our kits (so that it is easier to look after them!) we have included in these kits a Course Marker Storage box. Due to Changes in British Eventing the Sportsmark oval Course Markers have been re-designed. The Course Marker is now injection moulded in ultra tough polypropylene, a material that is known for durability within the equine industry. We have refined our Dressage markers to be more stable, durable and aesthetically pleasing while keeping practicality and transport key to our design. The Summit Markers are injection molded to fit straight onto the carry case and ultra sonically welded to strengthen, reducing the need for rivets or rust. Each marker is 450mm in height and a width of 324mm weighing in at 0.411gm each and a set of 12 at 6kg. Further to the changes in Course Marking that applies to British Eventing we have redeveloped our most popular Flag which is now moulded. The key design features of this flag were to be backwardly compatible with the old range of products, safely break if a horse impacted one of these and not to have any sharp points on them. Whilst maintaining all of the design requisites of the previous design, cost functionality and aesthetics. This New Flag however does has a change to the old flag in that there is spike to slot into the adaptor at the end of our poles, because of the BE change the only way to get around this method of fixing the flag to the pole is to sleeve it on, over the adaptor. This does reduce the overall height of the pole and the flag by around 250mm (9 1/2") so we are offering a new height of pole so that subsequent purchase of poles can match your existing stock.
